📊The integration of an Exchange and Wallet
It is necessary that we pursue two approaches for ONE.
Implementation of an Exchange
To ensure that not just the most important cryptocurrencies are available in ONE, it's necessary to implement an exchange in ONE. For experienced crypto users, it's a necessity to be able to trade many different blockchains and tokens. Since implementing this feature into the first versions would be far too complex, we are opting for the approach of integrating a crypto exchange. As it is simply necessary for the security of our users, we will rely on regulated and licensed partners. The safety of our users is our top priority, and ONE is not a platform that facilitates money laundering or tax evasion. These are also the prerequisites for collaborating with our partners and the providers of credit cards.
Even though a crypto exchange is considered one of the more "complex" features for newcomers, its implementation is indispensable in order to satisfy more experienced users.
Implementation of Secure Hardware Wallets
In the first version of our app, we don't plan to implement all Web 3.0 features. This would simply overwhelm the average user and carries a large potential for danger. A wallet hack mainly occurs when the user connects with dangerous smart contracts and as a result, the wallet can be emptied. Without using a hardware wallet, transactions no longer have to be externally confirmed.
Therefore, we have decided to create the possibility of integrating a hardware wallet directly into our ONE app. In some account packages, the hardware (in the form of a credit card) is sent to the user for free, while smaller packages will incur a small fee for the hardware wallet.
Through this approach, we ensure that our users are spared the experience of their wallets being hacked. Higher security comes at a price, but for ONE, this route is absolutely necessary to prevent users from associating a hack with ONE's security.
For a complete Web3 implementation, a good knowledge base is necessary. The next steps on our roadmap include expanding into a full Web3 app, however, the exact details for this have not yet been established.
